THE BIG PLAN 2020

THE HEBRIDEAN TRIANGLE

THE 2020 CONTINGENCY

With Covid19 devastating the global populations health and industries I have been forced to abandon my original plan of breaking the around Ireland Record of 23 days. After my 2019 trip I am confident that the record is possible.

Most people’s working lives have been affected and COVID19 has caused huge delays on life’s projects and goals for all of us.

The Hebridean Triangle was completed in 2007 by a duo from Scotland. Its a massive achievement and the routes takes on the crossings from the Monach Isles to St Kilda and from St Kilda to The Flannan Isles. The longest open water section being around 40 nautical miles.

The Outer Hebrides is exposed to the full Atlantic swells and winds.
